Formation of aesthetic competence of children of primary school age by means of music in the context of professional training of future teachers

Abstract

The presented article highlights some features of the professional training of future music teachers and primary school teachers for the process of forming the aesthetic competence of children of primary school age, their involvement in music and artistic and creative activities; awakening children's interest in art and the formation and development of aesthetic tastes, a sense of responsibility for preserving the cultural heritage of society, a holistic worldview; intellectual and spiritual formation of the personality of a junior high school student. The relevance of the studied quality, which is a problem of modern pedagogy in the context of the formation of the European educational space and the importance of quality professional training of future teachers for the formation of aesthetic competence of children of primary school age, is determined. The author emphasizes that in the conditions of reform and modernization of Ukrainian education there is a need to prepare an active, aesthetically developed personality of the future teacher. The ways of forming a positive, emotional and valuable attitude towards the works of Ukrainian folk music, national culture, a sense of responsibility and preservation of cultural heritage are outlined. The important role of musical art with its highly artistic instrumental, vocal and musical-dramatic works, folk musical creativity, in particular folklore appears as an effective and influential means of education of the national character of thinking, morality, patriotism, aesthetic self-awareness, creative stimulus of spiritual development. Interdisciplinary connections in the process of training students of the faculties of arts majoring in "Musical art" and the faculty of preschool and primary education majoring in "Primary education" were analyzed. Art". The results of the training of future teachers for the complex use of art and creative and interpretative work with students of primary school age are highlighted. The process of acquiring knowledge, abilities and skills by future teachers of musical art, young people, aimed at improving their aesthetic competence, which contributes to the intellectual and cultural development of the individual, the formation of the ability to quickly respond to the demands of modern education, is analyzed.
