The article discusses the existential-phenomenological approach to the musical communication of the individual, which reveals the unique essence of a person in their own world. At the same time, the musical and performing communicativeness of the students of the faculties of arts can be traced precisely through the identification of such worldview centers, which are stable and dynamic formations. Types of attitudes based on individual activity (formation of temporal reality) and contemplativeness (perception of timeless objectivity) are distinguished. According to the existential-phenomenological research strategy, the phases of musical consciousness among students of arts faculties, which involve the musical interpretation of listening perception, were tracked. The phenomenological construction is outlined from the standpoint of the growing activity of the subject, which manifests itself in the role of aspirations, desires, and "personal" acts of consciousness, identifying in the musical subject those elements of musical consciousness and subjectivity that contain essential qualities. This allows a student of the Faculty of Arts to independently choose the path of personal development and to more precisely understand the process of acquiring education and professional qualities.
