Abstract

The article focuses on the analysis and application of Gati career decision-making profiles in the field of career consulting, evaluating their significance and effectiveness in the context of modern professional consulting. The main goal is to explore the potential for adaptation and adjustment of profile polarities through a wide range of career counseling practices aimed at different target groups and needs. The main goal of the study is to provide a comprehensive list of career consulting strategies that can influence the change in the polarities of Gati career decision-making profiles, and thus contribute to a more effective career decision-making process by individuals. To achieve the goal, a complex methodological approach was used, which included both a critical review of the existing scientific literature on this topic and a synthesis of the data obtained from this analysis. This made it possible to comprehensively evaluate the current state of research in the field of career consulting and determine effective approaches and methods. The analysis of scientific works on career literature made it possible to identify a number of innovative and effective career consulting methods that can be applied to optimize the career decision-making process. The proposed intervention strategies are aimed at increasing the collection of information and its transformation into a more analytical one, accumulating efforts invested in the process and reducing procrastination, intensifying efforts in making a final decision and increasing the desire for an ideal profession. The study emphasizes the critical importance of an individualized approach in career consulting as a key factor for the successful development of the professional trajectory of clients. Using Gati Career Decision Profiles as a basis for career consulting opens up new perspectives for improving the effectiveness of career planning and decision-making, providing valuable tools for both consultants and clients in their pursuit of professional self-improvement and fulfillment.
