Abstract

The article analyzes the approaches to strategies for overcoming psycho-emotional traumatization of the individual through the use of the individual's own resources and its usual ways of self-regulation in different modalities, the so-called resource models. In particular, the described research methodology is an integrative model of overcoming the crisis of BASIC PH. The obtained results of the research allow to expand the scientific understanding of the processes of using the internal resource of a person who got into difficult life circumstances, was subjected to emotional trauma. It is substantiated that it is expedient to consider the use of internal resources not only as a strategy to overcome trauma due to previous personal experience but also as a possible process of development and personal growth. The study aimed to identify the main factors and features of the manifestation of psycho-traumatization of the adult personality. Research method - methodology BASIC PH (Lahad M. & Shacham M. & Ayalon, 2013) and the method “Scale of reactive and personal anxiety (STAI)” (development: C.D.Spielberger, R.L. Gorsuch, R.E. Lushene, USA; adaptation: Y. L. Khanin).
It has been proven that in order to overcome emotional trauma, the dominant ways of using the inner resource in adults were appeals to the mind (thinking) and faith, as well as reducing stress through physical activity. Instead, less often in crisis situations, respondents focused on their own emotions and feelings or sought help from others or connected their own imagination. It is empirically revealed that there is a relationship between the age of the subject and the choice of factors and features of overcoming the trauma of personality. The older a person is, the more often he hopes for God's help, more actively turns to prayer, spiritual practices, etc. It is confirmed that over the years the subjects begin to think more and analyze complex circumstances, as well as pay less attention to their own experiences. It has been found that there is a direct relationship between levels of anxiety and the use of emotional response, imagination and the ability to turn to others for help to overcome life's difficulties. The lower the level of situational and personal anxiety, the more often a person in crisis situations can: react emotionally and show feelings; use creativity, imagination; shares their own problems with others, seek help. At the same time, the study found that the use of faith and reason as ways to reduce emotional stress, on the contrary, are used by people with elevated levels of personal anxiety and situational anxiety.
