Some questions and examples of popularization of Mathematics

Abstract

The goal of the paper is to consider current issue of raising at the mathematical literacy level, erudition, elements of the general culture of society and overcoming the negative image of Mathematics through the popularization of science. It is examined the reasons of the low level of society awareness in Mathematics in paper; the issues of the necessity of studying Mathematics for the human mind development; examples of popularization of Mathematics in different countries of the world and in Ukraine; problems and ways of overcoming them in the issues of popularization of Mathematics and science in general.
