Policy on ethical approval of research involving human subjects
The scientific journal complies with the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine and international ethical standards for conducting scientific research involving human participation, the use of personal or confidential data, biological materials, or conducting research involving animals.
If the research, the results of which are submitted for publication, falls under the legislation of Ukraine on bioethics, personal data protection, or other regulatory legal acts, the authors are required to provide confirmation of receipt of the relevant conclusion (approval) of the authorized body, in particular the ethics (bioethics) commission or other competent body of the institution.
For research involving human participation, the authors must ensure compliance with the principles of voluntary informed consent, confidentiality, anonymity, and non-harm to research participants. In the case of collecting and processing personal data, compliance with the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine on personal data protection must be ensured.
The editorial board reserves the right to require additional documents from authors confirming compliance with ethical norms and legislative requirements, as well as to refuse publication of materials if they do not comply with the specified standards.
