MODERN PECULIARITIES OF POLITICAL CONSULTING: FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC EXPERIENCE

The article is devoted to the problem of development of the modern market of consulting services in the political sphere. The relevance of this study is justified by the rapid growth in demand for professional advice on political management and marketing, along with the lack of significant experience of professional practice in this field. In view of this, the purpose of the study is formulated as the disclosure of modern specifics of political consulting in foreign countries and Ukraine.
The research methodology used is a historical analysis of the formation and evolution of political consulting, a comparative analysis of Western European and domestic political consulting.
It was found that at the stage of the emergence of political communications, they were characterized by asymmetry, one-sidedness, bias, similarity to propaganda, in contrast to modern political consulting, the purpose of which is the professionalization of political management.
It was revealed that the main trends of modern political consulting include the gradual expansion of its subject area from the organization of electoral processes to information-analytical and organizational support of all areas of public policy, commercialization of political consulting and involvement of professional political technologists on non-partisan and non-ideological professions. regulation of consulting activities.
It is proved that the contradiction of domestic political consulting is a significant difference between the theory and practice of political activity, the weakness of legal regulation of the industry, lack of specialized educational programs in higher education, basic professional ethical norms and associations that would institutionalize basic procedures and practices political management and marketing.
