Some aspects of studying the course "Designing and processing databases" of students of computer science specialties

Abstract

The article deals with the main methodological aspects of studying databases on computer science specialties at the pedagogical university as a necessary part of the professional training of specialists in the field of informatics. A group of questions of theoretical content is outlined and a methodology for carrying out laboratory works on the course "Design and development of databases" is proposed. Particular attention is paid to teaching structured language SQL queries as universal for working with data in relational databases. NoSQL databases are also considered.
