The article deals with the problems of using modern information and communication technologies in foreign language lessons. The essence of modern information and communication technologies is revealed, their place is determined during the teaching of a foreign language in the context of modernization of education. The use of modern information and communication technologies is one of the most important aspects of the improvement of the educational process. Using a successful combination of methodical techniques and teaching aids can diversify forms of work and make the process of learning a foreign language interesting to students.
