The article deals with the means of computer simulation and methods of their use in physics
classes. The use of computer-based technologies during the study of natural sciences, in particular physics, provides the opportunity to study the phenomena studied at a higher quality level, to demonstrate the course of processes in conditions that are not available during a laboratory experiment. The accumulated experience convincingly testifies to the undeniable advantages of combining traditional methodical learning systems with computer-based technologies. Computer while studying physics does not act as a subject of study, but as an object that forms the learning environment, and as a means of managing learning activities and as a means of educational activity.
