About tournament of young computer scientists

Abstract

All-Ukrainian tournaments of young computer scientists in recent years have been analyzed in the article. The peculiarities of each of the three rounds of the tournament are considered. The positive dynamics of the growth of the number of teams since 2013 is shown. The analysis of tasks of the third round of the tournament of 2017 is offered. It was found out that one of the important problems of the tournament is the lack of an official online tournament resource, therefore it is proposed to organize an appropriate site for storing data about tournaments – the conditions for the tasks of both the first and third rounds, the student's solutions of the tasks of the first round, the final tables with results etc.
