Abstract

This article describes the main milestones of life and work of the famous Ukrainian informatics, mathematics, teacher, doctor of pedagogical sciences, Professor Yuri Ramsky. Much attention is paid to the memories of his role in becoming of іnformatics as a school subject, describing the results of his scientific school.
