Procedure for withdrawing (retracting) published articles
The Editorial Board of the Scientific Journal shall withdraw (retract) published articles in the event of significant violations of academic integrity or publication ethics.
The Editorial Board recognizes as grounds for withdrawal: the presence of plagiarism; fabrication or falsification of research results; significant errors affecting the reliability of conclusions; violation of authorship or conflict of interest; duplication of publication without proper reference.
The Editorial Board shall verify the information received, request explanations from the authors and, if necessary, involve independent experts. The review shall be carried out in compliance with the principles of objectivity and confidentiality.
The decision to withdraw is made collectively by the Editorial Board based on the results of the review.
The retraction of published materials is made public through the publication of an official notice of withdrawal indicating the reasons; the original article remains available with the appropriate mark “Withdrawn”; the article metadata shall be updated.
The retraction procedure is carried out in accordance with the international recommendations of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and the current legislation of Ukraine.
The editorial board of the Scientific Journal provides the opportunity to promptly make corrections to published materials in case of detection of inaccuracies that do not critically affect the main results and conclusions of the study. The editorial board recognizes as grounds for making corrections: technical or editorial errors; inaccuracies in data, references, illustrations; clarification of information about authorship or affiliation; other errors that do not require retraction of the article.
Authors or other interested persons notify the editorial office of the detected errors. The editorial board checks the information and, if necessary, agrees on the changes with the author.
The form of correction may be one of the following options: publication of a correction notice; updating the electronic version of the article indicating the changes; maintaining transparency of changes (indicating the date and essence of the correction).
Corrections are made in compliance with the principles of transparency, reliability of scientific information, and COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) recommendations.
