Publication ethics

Publication ethics of Scientific Journal of the Dragomanov Ukrainian State University Series 2 Computer-Oriented Learning Systems is aimed at adhering to ethical norms and preventing academic dishonesty, as accepted by the international scientific community. The editorial board's activities in this direction are based on recommendations from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the norms of the Ethical Code of Scientists of Ukraine, as well as the experience of many authoritative international journals and publishers.

The editorial board strives for high-quality scientific publications, public trust in scientific achievements, and recognition of people for their work and ideas. All manuscripts undergo peer review and must meet academic quality standards. If the editor accepts a manuscript for consideration, the submitted materials will be reviewed by reviewers who will remain anonymous to the authors.

It is important to avoid phenomena such as plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification. All sources used must be cited, and rephrasing should be limited and referenced or quoted in the text. Manuscripts that contain incorrect borrowings from other authors' works will be rejected, and authors may face sanctions.

Authors of submitted manuscripts or published articles found to have fabricated or falsified results may face sanctions, and published articles may be retracted.

Conflict of Interest A conflict of interest arises when issues outside the research can reasonably be perceived as affecting the neutrality or objectivity of the work or its evaluation.

A conflict of interest does not always preclude the publication of work or someone's involvement in the review process. However, they must be declared. A clear declaration of all possible conflicts — regardless of whether they actually had an impact or not — allows others to make informed decisions about the work and its review process. If in doubt, declare a potential interest or discuss it with the editorial board. Undeclared interests may result in sanctions. Submissions with undeclared conflicts that are later discovered may be rejected.

Controversial issues are carefully considered by members of the editorial board. In case of errors that affect conclusions, misconduct, or confirmation of suspicions related to possible plagiarism or falsification of results, the article is unconditionally rejected.

The journal allows authors to retain copyright without restrictions.
