Abstract

The article characterizes the peculiarities of creative-stage activities of teenagers, members of musical teams of the out-of-school education institutions, through staging of Ukrainian folk music, reproduction of the elements of theatricalization of folk performance, stage reflection of Ukrainian song folklore in the process of teenagers’ performing stage activities and some pedagogical principles of its organization. The relevant directions of mastering musical skills of playing a musical instrument, acquiring vocal techniques of sound production in combination with elements of theatricalization, as an integral part of creative-stage performance process are presented. The pedagogical principles of organizing the educational process are revealed, which consist in the need to master basic vocal, musical-instrumental and stage skills of the teenage education applicants of the out-of-school education institutions, their interest in musical-theatrical ensemble performance and acquisition of skills to involve elements of acting in the performance process. The peculiarities of teenagers’ creative-stage activities in the Ukrainian folk music ensemble are manifested in their activity and versatile manifestation of performing activity. It is characterized not only by skillful playing and vocal skills, but also by artistic manifestations in the process of performing folk music with the involvement of theatrical elements, which makes the performance product more interesting and colorful for the audience and multifaceted for the ensemble members themselves. This requires mastering an expanded range of skills in the field of performance, acting and theatricalization with the involvement of stage movements, artistic speech, facial expressions, gestures. An important element in this process is natural presentation of the musical-theatrical action through the performer’s individual vision of the musical and stage image, revealing it with the means of musical and acting expressiveness. The artistic presentation highlights special abilities aimed at directly conveying the interpretative project to listeners and viewers, through the demonstration of performance abilities as a specific type of artistic talent, which provides the “secondary” mediated creativity of teenagers in the Ukrainian folk music ensemble.
