Abstract

The article emphasizes the important role of instrumental and performing training in the structure of the educational process of higher education institutions and its significant influence on the formation of the creative individuality of a future teacher of music. The relevance of implementing a cultural approach in the system of professional training of music teachers is highlighted. Particular attention is paid to the need to possess a high level of performing skills, a developed aesthetic taste, and deep knowledge of various types of art. Having analyzed the psychological and pedagogical literature, the author formulates the concept of «development of the creative personality of a future teacher of musical art in the process of instrumental and performing training» as a harmonious combination of individuality, creative motivation, abilities and skills. Based on the theoretical understanding of the problem and the study of pedagogical practice, a number of pedagogical conditions have been identified that contribute to the effective development of the creative potential of a future music teacher. Such conditions include: stimulating the desire for creative self-realization in performing activities; implementing an individualized approach into the educational process; integrating creative methods into the system of performing training; developing a reflective attitude towards one's own activities and forming creative thinking of students
