The article discusses the importance of emotional intelligence in the professional training of vocal teachers in higher art education institutions. Attention is focused on the concepts of emotional intelligence proposed by such scientists as Daniel Goleman, Robert Sternberg and Howard Gardner, which integrate emotional and cognitive aspects. The article describes methods of developing emotional intelligence, including self-regulation training, communication exercises and role-playing games that prepare future teachers for effective interaction with students. The proposed integrated approach encourages the development of emotional competence and the creation of a supportive learning environment where students can unleash their creativity.
