A varied approach to using of unix-like opearing systems virtualization technologies in training of bachelors of informatics

Abstract

The paper substantiates a need for a development of a varied approach to using of unix-like operating systems virtualization technologies in training of bachelors of informatics. It also describes the realisation of this approach through combining different virtualization software in operating systems course, along with an adaptation of instructive and training materials for practical assignments. We also suggest an outline aimed to acquit teaching stuff with virtualization technologies, helping them to make an individual and informed chose of virtualization software. Corresponding methodical guidelines to using of unix-like operating systems virtualization technologies in training of bachelors of informatics are being prepared.
