An overview of the functionality of the online image editor Pixlr as a tool for training teachers of informatics

Abstract

The adoption of cloud technologies in the educational process is a priority for national education. Selection of appropriate services that can improve the educational process, is a key issue in solving this problem. In the article the possibility of use in educational process of training of Informatics teachers of cloud services, in particular online graphics editor Pixlr is considered. The features of the settings and functionality of this software product are described. The description of the main menu is detailed. We considered the use of cloud service (computing) Pixlr Editor for one of the most common tasks of image processing – tone correction.
