Дотримання принципів та рекомендацій COPE, WAME, DORA

Scientific Journal of the Mykhailo Dragomanov Ukrainian State University. Series 14. Theory and Methods of Art Education in its activities is guided by the standards of leading international associations, which ensures high quality of publications and transparency of scientific communication:

1. COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics): The editorial board fully complies with “Core Practices” (Key Practices) of COPE. This includes:

the use of procedures for resolving disputes regarding authorship and plagiarism;
the readiness to publish corrections and retractions;
ensuring ethical review and prevention of conflicts of interest.

2. WAME (World Association of Medical Editors): Although the publication is a humanitarian publication, the editorial board has implemented the universal WAME recommendations on editorial independence. This ensures that decisions on publication are made exclusively on the basis of scientific quality, regardless of the commercial or political influence of the founders of the publication.

3. DORA (San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment): The journal supports the DORA principles for objective assessment of scientific contribution. The editorial board encourages:

avoidance of excessive focus on the impact factor as the sole indicator of quality;
the use of extended metadata and identifiers (ORCID, DOI) for accurate citation;
citing primary sources instead of review articles to properly acknowledge the work of researchers.
