Grounds for retraction may include:
- plagiarism or self-plagiarism;
- data fabrication or falsification;
- significant errors rendering results unreliable;
- duplicate publication;
- copyright infringement;
- undisclosed conflict of interest;
- other serious violations of editorial policy and ethical standards.
The procedure may be initiated by:
- authors;
- editorial board members;
- reviewers;
- readers;
- affiliated institutions.
Review procedure:
Upon receiving information, the editorial office:
- conducts a preliminary assessment;
- if necessary, performs an internal investigation involving:
- editorial board members;
- independent experts.
Authors are:
- informed about the concerns;
- given the opportunity to provide explanations.
Possible outcomes:
- no action required;
- publication of a correction;
- issuance of an expression of concern;
- article retraction.
In case of retraction:
- the journal publishes an official notice indicating:
- the reasons for retraction;
- the date of the decision;
- the article is not removed from the journal archive;
- a clear retraction notice is placed on the article page.
This ensures:

- preservation of the integrity of the scholarly record.
