The research substantiates the necessity of modernizing the methodical training of future art specialists in the conditions of globalization of the educational space. Attention is focused on the role of the course "Choral studies and choral arrangement" as a basic component of the professional development of a music teacher, which synthesizes theoretical knowledge and practical vocal, conducting and choral skills. It has been proven that modern market requirements lead to the need to develop promising models of training for higher education applicants, which combine professional training with foreign language communication. It was determined that the integration of the English-language component into the teaching of art disciplines is the key to overcoming communication barriers and successful self-realization of specialists in the international professional environment. Both the professional and personal vector of development of future specialists directly depends on this. Possibilities of teaching the course "Choir studies and choral arrangement" in English have been revealed. Staged work on basic concepts and their definitions in Ukrainian and English is presented, the amount of theoretical material necessary for full mastery of the course in English is determined. It is emphasized that assimilation of theoretical material is possible only under the condition of assimilation of knowledge from the main profiling disciplines of the specialty. A complex of educational and methodological materials for the disciplines of the choral cycle is proposed, in particular, a step-by-step teaching method for the course "Choral Studies and Choral Arrangement" for students of art majors in English. In particular, a part of the glossary is presented, which covers key terms from the courses "Choral Studies and Choral Arrangement", adapted for bilingual use. The proposed addition is aimed at developing communication skills in a multicultural environment on the basis of dialogue.
