Abstract

The article discloses the principles of vocal-ensemble competence training of students of art faculties of universities, namely: socio-cultural compatibility, the principle of optimal combination of theoretical and practical methods of learning and the principle of interactive orientation. The principle of socio-cultural correspondence performs a social function, accordingly, the formation of vocal-ensemble competence of students of arts faculties in the process of studying conducting and choral disciplines should be included in the context of culture as a social phenomenon of a specific historical period in a concentrated form, and also cover wider time limits by means of following general sociocultural trends, norms and values. The principle of an optimal combination of theoretical and practical teaching methods is singled out by us because the study of conducting and choral disciplines involves the use of an algorithm of the integrity of theoretical and practical mastering of an artistic work, which is carried out in the form of an initial analysis of the score followed by a practical study of technical and artistic features, a search for interpretation and a final presentation this option to the public. The principle of interactive orientation will contribute to the emergence of an initiative attitude of students to the study of conducting and choral
disciplines in the process of forming vocal and ensemble competence.
