Pedagogical Conditions for the Formation of Artistic Images inMusicians-Performers Based on the Principles of Acting Skill

Abstract

The article substantiates, systematizes and reveals the pedagogical conditions for the formation of a holistic artistic image in musicians-performers by involving universal principles of stage and acting skills in the process of professional training. It is proven that traditional academic teaching methods often focus on technical perfection, leaving out of consideration the deep psychological, semantic and emotional analysis of a musical work, which is key to creating a convincing artistic image. The study is based on an interdisciplinary synthesis of the theory of musical performance, pedagogy, as well as the general principles of theatrical action and stage psychophysics, adapting such basic acting categories as “supertask”, “action in circumstances”, “magic “if”” and “stage attention” to solve specific performance tasks. The article reveals the essence and subordinates to a single logic a complex of teaching methods, among which a special place is occupied by the method of "performance etude" – the perception of the work as a dramatic event, the method of "physical action" – the motivation of each gesture and movement of the apparatus and the method of "internal monologue" – the conscious structuring of the stage feeling. The proposed pedagogical conditions act as a holistic synergistic system that allows transferring the performing activity of students from the level of reproduction of musical text to the level of conscious artistic creativity and dialogue. As a result of the implementation of this methodological model, the musician acquires the ability to emotionally saturated, intellectually meaningful communication with the listener, which significantly increases the quality of interpretation, activates psychological memory, strengthens stage presence and stability, turning the performance of works into a full-fledged artistic event
