The article is aimed at the study of the socio-psychological characteristics of the female leader and the level of her involvement in emotionally significant marital relationships. To achieve the goal and implement the tasks, theoretical (analysis, synthesis, generalization, comparison, systematization of socio-psychological literature); empirical (systematization, generalization of qualitative and quantitative research data, observations) and mathematical statistics methods (methods of comparative and percentage analyses) were used. The features of a modern female leader are studied and the significance of partner relations for her have been determined using the author’s methods. On the basis of theoretical analysis, the psychological characteristics of female leaders are considered. It has been proven that such women are assertive, have high intellectual abilities and high emotional intelligence, which in turn contributes to the achievement of their professional goals. The author’s own understanding of the concept of emotionally meaningful marital relationships is provided and substantiated, the parameters and constructs of such relationships are singled out: emotional and sensual; value-motivational; conative. Based on the results of the research, it is established that most of the women under study have indicators of the emotional and sensual parameter at medium and low levels. The exception was defined with high levels of emotional maturity. The formation of the value motivational parameter in the majority of the women under study was found to be at a sufficient level to ensure the formation of emotionally meaningful relationships, in particular, the reliable type of attachment prevails among the respondents. Determined levels of verbal/non-verbal communication and trust in the partner are at an average level and indicate sufficient formation of the conative component. Such female leaders are characterized by reflexivity, openness, constructiveness, flexibility, they have almost no continuous state of anxiety and fear of being betrayed. According to the data obtained, it is proved that the importance of the relationship with the spouse for the majority of respondents has an average level of importance, since most of the constructs of this phenomenon are at this level.
