Abstract

In the article, the development of logical thinking of children with hearing loss is analyzed, which is a necessary condition for their learning and cognitive activity formation. It is proved that the transition to conceptual, abstract thinking occurs gradually as children develop verbal speech, master vocabulary and grammatical structure. At the same time, the development of logical thinking does not occur on the entire front of intellectual activity, but primarily where the child's connection with reality is the deepest and strongest.

The results of the current study show that the development of thinking is characterized by a natural change of stages, where the formation of each new stage occurs within the old one, that is, each previous stage prepares the next. The emergence of new ways and forms of thinking does not destroy the old ways, but transforms them, raises them to a qualitatively new stage of development. Therefore, at each new stage of thinking development, methods characteristic of both lower and higher stages coexist.
