Review Policy

The editorial board ensures high-quality independent review of materials submitted for publication by scientists who conduct research in their specialty, have publications in professional publications (including in foreign publications included in the Web of Science Core Collection and/or Scopus, etc.). The organization of internal and external review of manuscripts is entrusted to the editorial board of the collection.
The publication “Scientific Journal of the Dragomanov Ukrainian State University. Series 22. Political Sciences and Methods of Teaching Socio-Political Disciplines” conducts expert review based on the principle of “blind” review (evaluation of the manuscript of the article by two reviewers without informing the name of the author and another expert). All articles submitted to the editorial board undergo the review procedure. Reviewing is focused on an objective assessment of the content of the scientific article, its novelty, compliance with current scientific problems and the requirements of the journal. Articles, as a rule, are reviewed by two independent academic experts. Additional experts from the scientific community may also be invited.
Interaction between reviewers and authors occurs through the editorial board. Manuscripts sent to reviewers are the intellectual property of the authors, therefore the review process is carried out on a confidential basis, i.e. information about the submission (conditions, content, stages of consideration, reviewers' comments and the final decision regarding publication) is provided only to the authors and reviewers.
If necessary, the editorial board may send the article to the author for revision. The editorial board reserves the right to edit the texts of articles, as well as reject manuscripts if they do not meet the requirements or thematic direction of the publication.
Surnames, names and email addresses provided by users of the publication's website are used only for the implementation of internal technical tasks; they are not distributed or transferred to third parties.
