Complaints procedure

Procedure for considering complaints regarding violations of academic integrity and publication ethics
The Editorial Board of the Scientific Journal adheres to the principles of academic integrity and also considers all complaints regarding possible violations of publication ethics in accordance with the principles of objectivity, confidentiality, and impartiality.
The complaint is submitted in writing to the editorial office’s email address (pnspd@udu.edu.ua) and must contain a description of the violation, a link to the material, and, if possible, supporting data.
The Editorial Board conducts a preliminary assessment of the complaint within 5-10 working days from the moment of its receipt and, if necessary, requests explanations from the authors and involves independent experts.
Based on the results of the review, collegial decisions may be made to reject the complaint, make corrections, withdraw the publication, or take other measures in accordance with established standards.
The editorial board is guided by the principles of academic integrity, the current legislation of Ukraine, and the recommendations of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
The parties have the right to file an appeal, which is considered additionally with the involvement of independent experts.

Consideration of appeals
Any appeals to the editorial board of the Journal regarding violations of the requirements of the Procedure for Forming the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine are accepted in writing by sending a letter of appeal to the official address of the Scientific Journal (pnspd@udu.edu.ua). The letter must be drawn up in accordance with the Rules for the Organization of Office Management and Archival Storage of Documents in State Bodies, Local Government Bodies, Enterprises, Institutions and Organizations, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated June 18, 2015, No. 1000/5. The signature of the person applying must be certified in the personnel department at the main place of work.
