Abstract

The article explores the development of professional competence of future managers in the context of psychological learning conditions. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the theoretical and practical foundations for building professional competence of future managers within the framework of psychological learning conditions, taking into account modern educational approaches and international experience. The research employed general scientific methods of cognition: analysis, synthesis, comparison, systematization, generalization, and examination of regulatory documents. The findings show that managerial competencies form a multidimensional system comprising personal effectiveness, interpersonal interaction, organizational performance, ethical leadership, and specialized business knowledge. It has been proven that their development during training is ensured through the application of competence-based, systemic, and experiential approaches that integrate theoretical learning with practical tasks and reflective methods. Analysis of national and international educational standards highlights differences in defining managerial competencies. The Ukrainian standard for specialty 073 “Management” outlines a broad spectrum of knowledge and skills but focuses mainly on the instrumental aspects of professional training. AACSB standards expand this scope by emphasizing the importance of ethics, social responsibility, and inclusiveness. Conclusions. It has been established that the psychological aspects of professional training for managers in the national context remain insufficiently defined in domestic standards and educational programs. The lack of clearly defined requirements for the development of emotional intelligence, resilience, stress resistance, and interpersonal skills leads to a mismatch between labor market demands and actual educational practices. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of applying its results to improve management curricula by integrating professional and psychological training of future specialists.
