Abstract

The article considers the current state of the study of computer three-dimensional graphics in Ukraine and analyzes the main problems that hinder the effective implementation of this discipline in the educational process. Despite the existing difficulties, in Ukraine, you can still see several positive examples of integrating 3D graphics into the educational process. Some educational institutions, working with private companies, local circles, and mass educational online resources, create unpredictable opportunities for independent mastery of modern knowledge and skills. In general, the greatest potential for the development of this direction lies in systemic support from the state, which includes improving curricula, attracting experienced teachers, and modernizing the technical base, which, in fact, can open new horizons in education. Computer 3D graphics today occupies its place of honor in the world of technology, and therefore, those who know how to work with these tools are increasingly sought after. The demand for such specialists is growing because achieving success in graphic professions requires knowledge not only of programming or mathematics but also an understanding of the elements of art and design. In fact, each of these aspects is closely intertwined with working with three-dimensional images, and teaching such disciplines requires a combination of theoretical and practical approaches. Attention is focused on the imperfection of curricula, the lack of qualified personnel, a weak technical base, and limited access to modern software. The purpose of the article is to express the key obstacles in the study of three-dimensional graphics and outline possible ways to overcome them. In the process of research, the source sciences, the experience of foreign educational systems, and real cases from Ukrainian educational institutions were analyzed. The article also has ideas for updating the content of training, improving teachers' skills, and developing partnerships with businesses.
